Policy

Precautions
Health and safety of both clients and therapists are our number one priority, especially post- pandemic. Therapists may wear face masks upon request, and clients are welcome to wear face masks, if they want to. Clients who may be at-risk due to medical reasons, are also encouraged to request (prior to appointment) that their therapist wear gloves during their session. Based on client comfort and logistics, the session may also be performed outside, for optimal air circulation. All equipment and linens are sanitized between sessions. Clients will always be appropriately draped (breasts and genitals covered) during each session for the comfort and safety of both the clients and the therapists.

Age Restrictions
Pediatric massage therapy is a wonderful experience with important requirements to support the safety and security of each child. All massage clients must be at least 18 years of age -OR- accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at least 25 years of age at ALL times.

Packages
Packages may be time sensitive, designed to be used within a certain time frame. Be sure to check out redemption details in each package. Sessions purchased as a part of a package may be gifted to another person. Some restrictions (mainly location-specific) may apply.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are non-refundable and must be presented at the time service is rendered. Hang on to your “golden ticket,” as lost, misplaced or stolen certificates are not refundable, replaceable nor valid.

Cancellations
Your understanding and cooperation with regard to cancellation is greatly appreciated. If you’ve scheduled an appointment and find that you must cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 4 hours prior to your scheduled time. If appointments are not cancelled within the designated time, your account may be charged in full. Client/ therapist may arrive up to 15 minutes early for setup and pre-assessment. Please plan accordingly.

Right to Refuse
The therapists retain the right to refuse service to any client for any reason. Clients who behave in an aggressive or abusive way including any and all forms of sexual harassment will forfeit the remainder of their session or package and lose all future booking privileges with New Dawn Therapies.

Bodywork Liability Waiver
Please note: Not all modalities are recommended for people in the acute stage of a physical injury. Please check with myself and/or your physician prior to booking to best assess your healing needs. By booking with New Dawn Therapies, you agree to the following statements:

I’ll immediately inform my therapist if I experience pain or discomfort during the session, so pressure can be adjusted to my comfort level.

I affirm that I have notified my therapist of all my known allergies, injuries, and medical conditions.

I agree to inform the therapist of any changes in my health and medical condition prior to receiving care.

I understand that massage is entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.

I acknowledge that New Dawn Therapies has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.

I further acknowledge that New Dawn Therapies can not guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19.

I hereby wave and release my therapist from any and all liability, past, present, and future relating to massage therapy and body work.
